Comfort is a major consideration when setting up your home gym. How else can you perform your workout routines effectively? If there are things that prevent you from moving or for the machine to work properly, you’ll only be wasting your time. Furthermore, if you design your home gym with comfort in mind, it will be healthier for you. Here are some things you should consider when building your own home gym:
Your vital statistics
Your weight and height will directly affect how well you will be able to perform on your home gym equipment. If the equipment will require you to be seated while performing the exercises, then your height shouldn’t be a concern. A rowing machine or ab roller, for example, will require mostly horizontal space. Treadmills will also elevate you just a few inches off the floor. They won’t present much of a problem even if you exercised in a room with low ceilings.
